The Big Show features comedy students performing for their final class from Beginning Stand-Up Comedy at the ASUW Experimental College, and some surprise professional guest comedians to round out the show. You never know who might drop in. The show is emceed by professional comedian Stu Stuart, who also instructs this unique and fun class. Treat yourself to a walk on the funny side, you will laugh with delight!
Stu has been teaching Beginning Stand-Up Comedy since 1991. Since then, he has taught hundreds of students.
The class is a great experience for those who want to learn the basics of stand-up comedy. It takes a lot of courage, and it’s a lot of work writing and performing comedy. But in the end, not only do students have a lot of fun and learn about comedy, but they develop a greater self-confidence and a belief that anything is possible,” says Stu, adding, “I’ve found that the average person, given some coaching on the mechanics of stand-up and given some moral support is very funny on stage.”
