Darius Emadi Presents: The United Nations of Funny! Seattle’s most diverse voices in stand up comedy! Featuring Milan Patel, Yogi Paliwal, Hans Kim, Manny Martin, and more!
Milan Patel grew his comedy roots in Seattle, but he’s quickly becoming one of Portland, Oregon’s fastest-rising standup comedians. His conversational style of stand-up has been described as silly, weird, and enjoyably rough. He’s performed at multiple comedy festivals including Bumbershoot and the Boring Time Comedy Festival in Seattle. He’s produced several DIY comedy shows in Capitol Hill to rave reviews such as The Steve Pool Comedy Show and the Scratch Deli Open Mic.
Yogi Paliwal is a standup comedian from Seattle, based out of New York. Yogi Paliwal has performed around the country at comedy clubs, theatres and festivals including Bumbershoot, San Francisco and Seattle Sketch Fest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and at the NBC Standup for diversity Showcase. He’s written for Frank and Funny greeting cards and IGN.
Huffington Post described him as, “A little weirdo with a big heart.” If you were to ask Yogi how he would describe his comedy he would say it’s “Intellectual absurdity.” If you asked him what that means he would say, “My material isn’t smart, but you need to be smart to see how stupid the joke is.”
