An Evening with Carrie Snow
Whether performing her hilarious yet touching solo show, “7,000 Sailors Can’t Be Wrong,” doing stand-up comedy and voiceovers, or basking in the glow of being featured in “The Aristocrats,” she’s a busy gal. Carrie was regularly on television doing every stand-up ensemble show from PBS’ COMEDY TONIGHT (which she later hosted for two award-winning seasons), AN EVENING AT THE IMPROV (later hosting a BEST-OF episode), to guesting on every talker from THE SALLY JESSE RAPHAEL SHOW, MARILU, VICKI1, THE LATE SHOW, ‘A’ LIST, LEEZA, to CAROLINE’S, and COMEDY CENTRAL.
Carrie was hired by Roseanne to write stand-up and special projects like THE MTV MUSIC AWARDS, and the monologue and sketches when Roseanne hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. This segued into three seasons as a Story Editor on ROSEANNE, where Carrie ran her own “joke room.” She guest-starred on the sitcom as well.

Clinton Jackson is a rarity in comedy -- he's a comedian who works clean. A fighter against stereotypes, he has been compared to a young Bill Cosby. His comedy is mostly observational - about life, kids. On stage he dances as if he were in a boxing match, delivering material that is as much fun to watch as it is to hear. He is clever and engaging.
Joe Larson grew up in Seattle. He got his work ethic from his parents who don't have real jobs. His father, also a comedian, worked 4 hours a week. Joe aspires to someday out-do his father some and work even less that that.

On Saturday, July 14, 2007, the Seattle Comedy Underground will open early to host an open audition for the fourth annual nationwide search. Seattle is one of only five cities nationwide that will be hosting this event.
The comics who are chosen will be featured in a showcase on Sunday, July 15.
The lucky comics chosen could find themselves awarded with a year's worth of college bookings, access to talent bookers from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and much more.

]]>Drake was the winner of the 2003 Seattle International Comedy Competition. He stared doing comedy in 2001 at a Christmas office party. In addition to being a comic, he is also an award-winning journalist. He recently spent 10 days entertaining troops in Iraq.
Drake will also be performing at the Seattle Comedy Underground August 31– September 2, 2006.
Drake is not the only comedian to come out of the Pacific Northwest to be featured on the show. In the first season, Auggie Smith, Dan Cummins and Seattle Comedy Competition winners, David Crowe and Darryl Lenox have been seen on the show.
Live at Gotham is Comedy Central's first stand-up series to premiere on Comedy Central's MotherLoad broadband player before its on-air network debut. The series is filmed at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Each weekday, go to MotherLoad to watch a different comedian doing fresh stand-up about the current events and pop culture gossip of the week. Then, tune in to Comedy Central this summer to watch all six full episodes of Live at Gotham.

The book is a retrospective of his career and will include images from his cartoons, fine art, commercial illustration, sketchbooks, and comedy shows, as well as a lengthy autobiographical essay.
BIZARRO has won three consecutive Reuben Awards from the National Cartoonist Society for Best Cartoon Panel of the Year, in 1999, 2000, and 2001. For the years 2002 through 2005, Piraro was nominated for its highest award, Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year. The results of his most recent nomination will be announced at the annual awards dinner in Chicago, May of 2006.
BIZARRO was first syndicated in 1985 and has since then built a steady and loyal following on four continents. It currently appears daily in around 250 markets in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Eleven collections of BIZARRO cartoons have been published as well as a book of prose, Bizarro Among the Savages
Piraro regularly speaks to school children, community groups, and colleges and works as an animal rights activist. For his animal rights-themed cartoons he was awarded the Humane Society's Genesis Award for Outstanding Cartoonist in 2002, 2003, and 2005.

The Bizarro Baloney Show is on tour in conjunction with the release of Piraro's 14th book, Bizarro and Other Strange Manifestations of the Art of Dan Piraro, from Abrams Books.
People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals is endorsing the Bizarro Baloney Show through its e-newsletter to members nationwide, so clubs around the country may well be visited by new patrons.
Piraro is funding the tour himself and anything after travel expenses will benefit Dan's favorite animal welfare organizations.
