Seattle Comedian looks to Kickstart first album

Derek SheenDerek Sheen has thought about this moment for a long time.

"I first visited the Comedy Underground when I was 13 years old,” the local comedian says. β€œIt's the club where I performed my first open mic. Ever since the day I stepped into that windowless basement, I have dreamt of headlining that stage."

30 years later that dream is about to come true.

About Seattle Comedy Underground

Showtimes are 8:30 pm nightly with late shows on Friday and Saturday starting at 10:15 pm. Shows are all-ages Sunday-Thursday; Friday and Saturday are 21+. The box office opens 30 minutes before a show. There is a working bar and restaurant before and after shows.

The Seattle Comedy Underground is located at:
109 S. Washington Street (on Occidental) in downtown Seattle. We have complete directions from I-5 on our Web site. Food service is available during all shows. For more information, call (206) 628-0303.

The Comedy Underground opened in 1981, and has brought the very best in comedy to the Pacific Northwest, including, before they were stars, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Marsha Warfield, Steven Wright, Kevin Pollack, Jenny Jones and more.
