Sawyer won the prestigious Seattle Stand-up Comedy Competition and made his first television appearance on a local show, "Standing Room Only". Since then Todd has made people laugh on a variety of television shows from multiple appearances on CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" to National Lampoon's "Funny Money", or cracking jokes on CMT's "Country Music's 20 Sexiest Women". He performed on Paramount Television's "The World Stands Up", which aired in Australia, the UK and on BBC America.
