GEORGIE KUNKEL

Georgie Bright Kunkel is the OLDEST STANDUP COMIC IN SEATTLE--who can still stand up. She honed her craft through the years that she needed to hear laughter when she was taking full care of her husband before he died. Laughter is the best medicine as everyone knows.

Georgie and her husband appeared on the Oprah Show early in Oprah's career and Georgie has appeared on the Carnegie Hall stage with her chorale group.

She has written two books and a mini book called My Sex Secrets by Grandma before even her own family appreciated such a book.

She says that at age 89 she has more material for comedy than most anyone younger. After all, she knows what it is like to be old and also remembers what it was like to be young. So she says, "Listen to your Grandma, you hear?" Then she adds, "I can laugh at myself but don't let anyone else laugh AT me--only WITH me."
