Harrold Gomez
As a child, Harrold Gomez learned to be a funny guy by spending time in New York in Bensonhurst playing basketball against Italian kids. He'd make jokes at their expense until they slam-dunked their way to winning the game, then take off before any beatings started.
He left New York and came to Seattle where he went from making jokes on the basketball court to making jokes in a comedy club. Now he slam-dunks jokes and makes audiences laugh and at the end of the show he still takes off before any beatings get started.
Harrold's style of comedy seems to be working for him. He was the 2002 winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
