The Comedy Underground and brings you The Art of Comedy as part of First Thursday Artwalk in Pioneer Square. This gallery show takes place in the lobby of the world-famous Comedy Underground and features artwork that is either humorous in nature, or made by stand up comedians.

This month we feature Rebecca DeVerewhose art is filled with fabulous humor, and includes her "Amy Winehouse" series.

Rebecca DeVere was in her first painting show when she was 8. She has studied in California, Minneapolis, Nova Scotia, and New York City. She got side tracked making mosaics for a living for 13 years, but has now come back to painting. Her paintings reflect her vast education mixed with a sense of humor .Rebecca usually paints "Plein Air Oil". The Amy Winehouse series is a break and reminder to" Not Take Oneself So seriously".

Also featured is the sculpture of comedian/magician Ruben Barron. Don't miss the walrus!

The exhibit will be followed at 9 PM by an evening of stand-up comedy
