Comedy News: Jerry Seinfeld 'owes it all to Seattle'

Jerry Seinfeld loves Seattle and we can understand why. In the comedy heydey, Seattle was a place a lot of nationally recognized comics really feel they had career changing moments. For Jerry Seinfeld, it was the first place he felt acceptance.

Seattle Post-Intelligencer film critic William Arnold interviewed Seinfeld. "Seattle is my favorite city. It's the first place anyone ever liked me. When I played the Comedy Underground in 1983 I sold out a house for the very first time. That was really the beginning of everything for me. I feel like I owe my whole career to Seattle."
