Word spread earlier this week that comic Patton Oswalt, best known for TV’s The King Of Queens and for voicing Remy in Pixar’s Ratatouille, will also be joining the Caprica cast in a recurring role as Baxter Sarno, a Caprican talk-show host

Oswalt can also be seen as the lead in the upcoming Big Fan, the directorial debut from The Wrestler scribe – and former Onion editor-in-chief – Robert Siegel. He's also got a Comedy Central special coming up on August 23, and CD/DVD a couple of days after that. Go Patton!

(For those who don’t know, Caprica will tell the story of Joseph Adama, Bill Adama’s father, and the events leading to the destruction of the Twelve Colonies, which is when the Battlestar reboot began.)
